graduations

Here are a few cards I made, using scherenschnitte, for some friends who are graduating:

Yes. They are same, just different colors.

tote bag

Wow... I just dug up this post from a loooong time ago, which I never posted. 
So.

Here we are:

A tote bag.

All I did was stick tape to the bag in lines, then paint fabric paint between the lines.

Very simple.

But I like the result.

Well, here's something I painted a while ago. 

Just a fun, colorful little piece! 

I had a hard time getting the right angled lines.

Lots of drawing and erasing.

On another note, school is almost over...

1 paper, 2 tests, 2 recitals, 2 finals, and then SUMMER!

the oysters

I'm back, with another painting!

A....doodle, I guess.....on a watercolor background.

 

General consensus has it that my doodle bears a striking resemblance to oyster shells....

hence the post title.

I'm afraid I can see the similarities...

 We had a half day of school yesterday, so I used my extra time to paint!
