Well, I've returned to Pysanky.

I was cleaning out a box of stuff (finally) when I came across a carton of my Ukrainian eggs. They re-inspired me to try the art again, and since all my dyes were still sitting on the shelf, I dove right in. 

My first egg was admittedly pretty horrible. But my second attempt came out well!

Here's something I did a month or two ago...

My brother's Converse.

I stole them from the shoe rack.

He got a little confused about where they were, 

until he saw them perched on my desk.

:P

I think all my energy will be focused on pencil drawings for a while...

tote bag

Wow... I just dug up this post from a loooong time ago, which I never posted. 
So.

Here we are:

A tote bag.

All I did was stick tape to the bag in lines, then paint fabric paint between the lines.

Very simple.

But I like the result.

Well, here's something I painted a while ago. 

Just a fun, colorful little piece! 

I had a hard time getting the right angled lines.

Lots of drawing and erasing.

On another note, school is almost over...

1 paper, 2 tests, 2 recitals, 2 finals, and then SUMMER!

I'm back, with another painting!

A....doodle, I guess.....on a watercolor background.

 

General consensus has it that my doodle bears a striking resemblance to oyster shells....

hence the post title.

I'm afraid I can see the similarities...

I've been playing around with digital drawing...

 here's a desktop background for April that I came up with!

I drew one pattern, and then copied and pasted until I was satisfied.

I'm not sure how crisp and clear it will be, though...
I haven't found how to save it so that it will be high resolution.
