cheetah

I've enjoyed some painting over spring break, and I came up with this cheetah:

It's a little different from what I normally paint, since I  actually covered the entire page! :)

Sorry the photo quality isn't the greatest...on the camera the pic looked fine, but on the computer I can see it's a bit blurry, and the color isn't as vivid as I would like. :/

peregrine falcon

I broke out the watercolors again a couple days ago, and came up with this:

(I'm not sure what's wrong with the picture... the coloring is all weird when I post it to Blogger...)

pysanky

Well, I've returned to Pysanky.

I was cleaning out a box of stuff (finally) when I came across a carton of my Ukrainian eggs. They re-inspired me to try the art again, and since all my dyes were still sitting on the shelf, I dove right in.

My first egg was admittedly pretty horrible. But my second attempt came out well!

kitten

Poor blog... it's been neglected.

Maybe I'll have more time to post during Christmas break...

Here's a kitten I sketched and painted recently.

  :)

Merry Christmas!

Aragorn

Surprise, surprise.

Another Lord of the Rings character.

Hm.

I'll draw someone else next time.

:S

but I like him a lot better than Frodo!

:)

Frodo

Here's what I've been working on recently...

Frodo Baggins!

Let me just say... faces are quite a challenge.

that left eye....

 :P

But overall, I think I'm happy with him.

pencils

Here's something I did a month or two ago...

My brother's Converse.

I stole them from the shoe rack.

He got a little confused about where they were,

until he saw them perched on my desk.

:P

I think all my energy will be focused on pencil drawings for a while...
